The problem
Leadership training is priced for churches that can afford it. In much of the world, that excludes exactly the pastors who would benefit most — leaders serving congregations where the offering covers the building and little else, and where the pastor often works a second job.
The result is a quiet inequity. The training that would help a church multiply is reliably available to churches that are already resourced, and reliably out of reach for churches that are not. The barrier is almost never willingness. It is a line item.
How it works
- You fund a scholarship. One leader, or a bundle covering a whole leadership team.
- The scholarship covers the full year. Not a trial, not a discount — the complete DNA Mentorship, including the live sessions, individual church guidance, the three books, platform access and the DNA Library.
- The leader applies it in their own church. The mentorship is built around the participant's actual congregation and its actual obstacles, so the work happens in a real church from month one.

Who is served
Pastors and nominated church leaders who have completed the DNA 1 and DNA 2 seminars and are ready to lead a transition, but for whom the cost of the mentorship year is prohibitive. Priority goes to leadership teams over individuals, because a single trained leader inside an untrained team rarely survives contact with the transition.

These figures describe how a gift is allocated — what it buys and for whom. They are not a report of results already achieved.
Why we describe the effect as a mechanism, not a number
It would be easy to publish a multiplier here — one leader trained, so many people reached. We do not, because we would be inventing it. What we can describe honestly is how the model is designed to work: a trained leader runs a small group; that group is expected to raise and release its own next leader; that leader starts another group. Whether it compounds depends on the leader and the church, not on the donation.
Snowball Fund is in its first funding cycle. When we have verified outcomes from scholarships we financed, we will publish them on our transparency page — including the ones that did not work.

Questions about this project
Does the scholarship go to a person or to an organisation?
To a named participant. A church bundle covers up to five named leaders from the same congregation.
What languages is the mentorship delivered in?
English, Spanish and German. Where a language is missing entirely, that is a different problem — and it is what our translation project exists to solve.
Is this a recurring gift?
Yes. Scholarships are billed monthly or annually, because the program they fund runs for a year. You can cancel a recurring gift at any time by contacting us.
Can I choose which pastor receives it?
Not currently. Recipients are selected with our program partners on the basis of need and readiness. If you want to sponsor a specific church or region, please contact us directly.
